Welcome to the Classroom
Live classes, courses, and workshops to help you build fundamental and foundational life skills – rooted in community, caretaking, and social-emotional learning

Learning Style Options
The Classroom is where learning meets embodiment—through live classes, in-depth courses, and self-paced resources. It's a way to honor learning as a lifelong practice, to restore foundational skills and practices, and to reclaim our power in community.

About Live Classes:
Our monthly virtual workshops focus on experiential, hands-on learning. You'll engage with each skill in real time, supported by a teacher who guides you through the process and answers your questions as they arise. These gatherings are about doing and learning together.

They are meant to help us:
-
experience learning as a lifelong endeavor and pursuit
-
reduce our consumerist ways and embrace community and creator-centric sustainability
-
explore and ignite new hobbies and passion pursuits
-
teach us survivalist and longevity practices
-
expose us to accurate, all-encompassing history
-
broaden and deepen our understanding of the world through new perspectives
-
and, start a generational revival of foundational emotional, life, and community skills

The single-session workshops will focus on practical, embodied, and community skills like:
baking sourdough • building a compost system • brewing herbal teas • starting a fire • navigating relational conflict and communication • basics of mutual aid and deepening community • regulating your nervous system • cycles of collective trauma • starting and maintaining a garden • sustainable house cleaning • foundations of breath and posture • dissecting privilege and grounding in social responsibility • deconstructing and decolonizing history • supporting your lymphatic system through massage • movement practices for tension and fascia release • skincare for skin health and resilience

Learning should be accessible — that's why free or low-cost community classes are offered regularly.
About Community Courses:
Courses are designed to support deep, intentional change. Each one focuses on a specific area of life that feels ready for exploration. Through personal discovery and hands-on lessons, these courses help you shift old patterns, build new foundations, and feel empowered to pursue something meaningful.

Courses range in length from three weeks to twelve weeks. The classroom sizes are intentionally kept smaller to keep the learning environment intimate and foster connection. They range in cost from $200 to $600 on average, though scholarships are available.

Each course includes live sessions hosted weekly via Zoom, journals and/or eBooks related to the course's lessons, guided in-person meditations, and a community platform for student-based communication.

Courses generally include a focus on:
development of a sustainable routine • practices to creatively engage with our work • connecting to our emotional body and belief system • aligning our life with our personal values • building a sanctuary internally and externally • discovering our dreams and sense of purpose • grounding in confidence and conviction

More about Self-Guided, Self-Paced Learning:
The self-guided, self-paced lessons are housed in The Library.
There are various asset types to support our different learning styles and preferences: journals, eBooks, audios, and videos.

These resources focus on skills to aid us in living more sustainably, consciously, and community-focused; somatic and breath practices to help us feel more grounded and centered; tools for routine creation; meditations for personal explorationa nd subconscious discoveries; and practices for emotional, life, and community skill building.

These are more than just assets to help us learn and practice fundamental skills that are often untaught generation-to-generation or in modern schooling, but they are also teachings that help us cultivate healthier, more values-centered lives.
