Join us for a live 75-minute live workshop via Zoom with teacher and founder of Sourdough For The People, Kelsey Yates. This event is open to all and free to attend.

the ingredients, tools, and techniques for creating a Sourdough from scratch

understanding how to navigate the timing of the fermentation and preparation process (and what to expect throughout the baking process)

how to use the float test to see if your starter is ready

If you've tried baking Sourdough before or if you're a beginner, this is a great entry-level workshop to help you get started or refine your skills. If you want to mix or fold along with us, you are more than welcome to, or you can watch and join the conversation to have your questions answered in real-time by Kelsey.

About Your Teacher
Kelsey Yates is the Founder of Sourdough For The People, an education-based organization offering classes and resources to teach people how to love and create Sourdough.
A lover of sourdough and the planet, Kelsey is on a mission to help bring the art of sustainable living into the home through the creation of delicious, living bread.
Kelsey is a renewable energy builder and expert by trade and an environmentalist, sourdough teacher, writer, explorer, food enthusiast, and joy pursuer by passion.
In this free class, Kelsey will be teaching you how to mix, nurture, fold, bake, and design your very own Sourdough loaf, and providing all students with a step-by-step video series and guidebook to assist you every step of the way.
She'll answer your questions about any and all things Sourdough and share her lessons learned from years of investment in her craft.
Kelsey will be donating her time to teaching this class so that everyone who wants to join is able to regardless of financial means.
