For the incredible teachers of the world.
Let’s film a beautiful piece together.
A lesson and a little about you, your work, and your art.
The goal is to create a calm, joy-centered educational environment for people to learn and connect with You, what you’re teaching, and the story you’re sharing. Think of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood or a Studio Ghibli film, we are creating soft learning style for foundational skills.
what we’ll create
The goal is to share your teachings in a way that helps people learn a new skill, develop a new perspective, and hear a new story.
There are several ways for us to collaborate and create resources that are informative, educational, and engaging.
-
A TV-show style video in which you will lead us through a guided, hands-on teaching (and demonstration) of the skill. In addition to the guided lesson, this also includes an interview component.
This does require multiple shooting angles. For Example, if you are teaching basic sewing stitches, we will need close-ups of your stitching work.
This is designed to be a fluid, engaging educational conversation and demonstration – and produced as a high-quality video.
-
This can be conducted in-person or online (via Zoom).
In this workshop-style class, the goal is to help people develop a skill through hands-on experiential learning. After you teach the core basics, we invite students to join in and apply those teachings in real time.
For example, if you are teaching tea blending, we will invite students to come to class with specific herbs and blend them on the spot – teaching the process, order, health benefits, and so on as we go.
Currently, we can only host in-person classes in Asheville, NC.
-
Based on the lessons taught in the Video Show or the Live Class, an eBook will be created as a companion resource for students.
This can be a How-to Manual, Step-by-Step Guide, Informational Book, or so on.
You will receive the draft to review, provide feedback or edits, and then use the final asset however you would like.
do we share values & a vision?
-
To inspire people’s crafts, creativity, curiosity, health, learning, and skill-building.
Most importantly, to spur connection. Help people connect with their life and talents, with nature, and with community and other people.
-
Empathy is foundational.
Capitalism and its father, Colonialism, are built on violence – to capture and extort resources.
These teachings are to help people reconnect in community, liberate from consumerist ways, and divest from harmful contributors and systems.
Uplift communities, not empires.
-
Skills are essential and so are artists (which is just another name for a teacher).
If you are an artist who brings something to life so passionately with a skill that has been fortified by time and dedication, let’s share you and your talents.
People are eager to learn, eager to laugh, eager to reconnect with joy. We need the next generation of people to be able to support themselves and their communities with skills and crafts.
This is a way to help teach and empower them.

The goal is to help you build your platform and reach – with new assets and new connections.
The current financial structure is to provide you with marketing resources as payment for participation. We will work on a framework of this exchange together so that you are adequately compensated for your time and experience.
For students, we want to make learning accessible by offering these resources for free or at low cost. Currently, only live classes or workshops can include a cost for students to participate.
In that case, it will be a 60/40 split. The forty percent is set aside to cover the cost of the venue, if in-person, or the meeting platform, if online. It includes all marketing and design work (such as filming, editing, promotional social media content), as well as the creation of the assets (eBook, videos).
-
Everything we create – videos, eBooks, one-pagers, and so on – will be accessible via Soulcur’s Library archives.
You’ll also receive copies (with your branding exclusively) to share on your platforms, in your shop, or wherever/however you would like.
The goal is to help people build skills and help them connect with you as a teacher for future lessons.
The first class will just cover the basics. There will be students who want to learn more advanced teachings.
The hope and goal is that they can develop new hobbies and skills, but also continue forward with vocational or advanced training.
You’ll receive the list of all participants, with their approval.

Currently, there is an application process to participate as a teacher. At this time, we are looking for specific skills to share.
